'Avatar: The Way of Water' Enters Top 10 Highest Grossing Films
Avatar: The Way of Water has broken box office records by remaining the highest-grossing film for seven weeks in a row, a record that hasn’t been broken since the first Avatar movie came out in 2009. The sequel to James Cameron’s 2009 hit film grossed $620.6 million domestically, making it the 11th highest-grossing film of all time in the United States. He will soon surpass the 2012 The Avengers and be on the verge of entering the top 10. In addition to its domestic success, The Way of Water is also the fourth highest-grossing film in the world, behind James Cameron’s Avatar, Avengers: Endgame and Titanic.
